• Develop micro design documents within the product standards
• Write clear, measurable learning objectives
• Create Course Outline, basis the TOC, if available
• Work with subject matter experts to design and develop training materials and reference documentation in accordance with product standards
• Assist in data gathering and analysis whenever practical.,
• Create a variety of training deliverables, including, but not limited to:

1. Instructor and participant guides

2. Storyboards

3. Web-based training

4. Scripts

5. Quick Reference Cards

6. User Manuals

7. Powerpoint slides

• Update and/or reformat existing course materials.,
• Assist in the archive of training deliverable
• Prepare and/or deliver briefings as required.
• Visualize graphics, and enable ID Specialist to visualize graphics with Visual Communications Specialis
• Provide instructor-led training as necessary to internal and external SMEs to enable them to develop instructionally sound content

Light Project Management

• Adhere to and inform productivity standards
• Support project manager in developing project plans
• Serve as point-of-contact during development of course materials for self work, as well as any vendors engaged with

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong instructional design capability
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills
• Strong team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have demonstrated ability to use the ISD process to develop either print-based or multi-media courseware
• Must have strong technical writing, research and analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Powerpoint,Excel);interest in learning to use additional electronic tools
• Familiarity with basic Graphic Packages (photoshop) would be an advantage
• Demonstrated use of elearning products (Dreamweaver, Flash) would be an advantage
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education or Instructional Design
• 3-5 yrs of experience as an intructional designer
• Master’s Degree in English/Education/Intructional Design/Communication a plus
• Globalization requirement experience would be an advantage, but not a must, e.g. language, culture, customs
• Overll 4 to 7 yrs of experience
